First week in Jordan
>> Monday, July 8, 2013
We've been in Jordan for a little more than a week now. It's been an eventful and fun week of figuring out our way around town.
The driving here is pretty crazy. It seems that there aren't any lanes and people are free to push into your space at any time! Tim is good at adapting, though. He's a great driver!
This is the building where we've stayed for this week. But, as we always tell the kids, "plans change" and we'll be moving to another building tomorrow. Another adventure awaits us!
One of the nice things about this building is that there's a courtyard where the kids have enjoyed kicking a ball around! Faith is such a girly girl and has enjoyed practicing her spins!
We got to meet our new friend, Sofia! Isn't she precious? She's only 2 months old!
Joseph and Faith have really enjoyed playing with Sofia's brother, Judah, who is three!
We've had dinner at some great places here! One night we had hot tea after our meal. Joseph and Faith love tea!
This picture may not mean much to you in the States, but I really loved seeing this church on a hill. We don't see this where we live.
Our family got our picture taken dressed up as Jordanian Bedouins!
On Friday we went to a souq that gets set up downtown.
Joseph and Faith got their faces painted! They loved it!
I love the view from this area of town!
Something else we've REALLY enjoyed is all of the green! There are trees everywhere!
