Eid Al Fitr

After Ramadan there is a three day holiday called Eid Al Fitr. It’s a fun time of celebration. The first day is important for visiting. In the morning there are micro-visits. Just stop by and say hi. The kids get money.

We enjoyed walking around the village greeting people and saying, “Eid Mubarak!” Joseph and Faith got some money. We didn’t stay out too long that morning because it was so hot! Both kids were so thirsty after being out! Later, for lunch, we came back and shared a meal with some of our Arab friends. What a special time!
