We're in New Mexico!

Maybe you have wondered where we are and what we're doing. I thought I'd take a few minutes and share what we've been up to.

We are spending this fall semester in America! We're in New Mexico, where we're eating lots of green chili! We've been here for about a month and a half. It's been a crazy fun time catching up with family! 

We have really enjoyed some time with just the four of us. Sometimes we can't help but to stop by McDonalds for some sweet tea! yum!

We got to go fishing with my brother Andrew, which was a lot of fun!

We've been to the Zoo already a couple times.

We got to spend a few days at a cabin that's about 1.5 hours drive from the city. The trees and the mountain air were so amazing! So peaceful and relaxing!

Joseph and Faith have started homeschool. Joseph is in First Grade and Faith is in Kindergarten.

Joseph turned 7 on September 4th and he got to have an all-American birthday party at Chuck E Cheese's!

It's been great to spend time with Tim's parents!!

We went to the State Fair and enjoyed the petting zoo.

The kids rode horses and other fun rides at the State Fair!

We got to see Tim's sister Karla's family. These cousins sure do love each other!

 We got to see my brother Ross! Joseph and Faith are blessed with such fun aunts and uncles that love them so much! It blesses me to see them enjoy each other too!

We drove through the mountains, which is something we don't get to do in the Middle East. God's creation really is amazing!

We're loving the fall colors!

The changing leaves are so beautiful. This is another luxury we don't get in the Middle East. So, we're thankful we get to be here during this time.

Tim's mom turned 70 on September 20th and we got to celebrate with her!!

We got to go to the Balloon Fiesta for the second year in a row! What a treat! This is one of our favorite events.

My parents came down for the week! Such sweet memories were made.
