Eve's first two weeks home

What a joy it was to come home with our new baby girl! Joseph and Faith were delighted to have her home. They couldn't wait to hold her!

She was so small and looked especially tiny on our queen sized bed.

I can't get enough of this girl!

Three days after she got home, we took her back to the dr. for a follow up. She was gaining weight and we were so pleased!

Our wonderful friend Carie took Faith to the salon to get her braids out and a couple days later to get new braids. Having braids in her hair has been such a blessing because we don't have to comb her hair with the braids in.

Here she is with her big hair. Isn't it so fun? She said, "I look like Annie!" She loves watching the new version of Annie!

Faith was interested in her sister from the very beginning. She's so sweet when she talks to her and wants to know everything that's happening with her.

A few days later we went out with her again. This is how she looked in her carseat. Aww!

One afternoon Melissa came over and hung out with Eve so Tim and I could get some sleep! It was such an amazing gift!

I have a feeling we're going to have lots of pictures of these two sisters together. Faith is totally in love!
Faith is convinced that Eve prefers to be held by her. Maybe she does! She seems to be quiet every time Faith is holding her.

This picture was taken by one of our Arab friends. Actually, the secretary at Tim's work. Eve is wearing her hat that says her name in Arabic.

It really is funny how much we can stare and stare at this face. We're completely in love!

This picture was taken on Mother's Day! It was a special Mother's Day...the first one with three kids. :)

One early morning, Joseph got up and decided that he wanted to read to Eve. I couldn't help but take a picture of it.

Carie came over one evening and held Eve.

Seriously, isn't that face irresistible?

A week later we had to go back to the dr. for another follow up. I guess they wanted to follow up more because she's a preemie. She was continuing to gain weight! She was up to 4lbs 10oz!! We were happy and so was the doctor.

This doctor did did a very thorough check up and she looked good. He said, "She's perfect. She's petite, but she's perfect." I had tears in my eyes when he said that.
