Good to be back!

>> Sunday, September 11, 2011

Several people have asked us, "Is it good to be back?" We have answered quickly, "Yes it is!" We are back in the Middle East...the place that we call home. We are back and it feels so good to be here.

But, we're not back to the same place we left. So much happened in this place while we were gone. I don't know if I can really put it into words, but my heart really hurts for the people here.

There is a different feel that I'm not sure how to describe. Obviously people want to have a voice. One way that they express themselves is through graffiti. There's so much more of it than when we left.

We have been house hunting and the kids have been good sports! All four of us are excited that we found a house and we're moving in this week!

I have been struck again by the beautiful sunsets here! It's so beautiful and so obviously comes from a creative, amazing, wonderful God!

It makes me think of Romans 1:20 "For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse."

Yeah the graffiti says it all...It is just too sad that they feel that they need to do it. We are all glad that you are home!

It is awesome to see your heart for the people in the gulf. I am sad to hear it is so different from when you left.
Happy that you found a house though! Best wishes on getting settled in a new home.
Love the pictures!
