Jordan Zoo

>> Monday, July 15, 2013

We heard that there's a Zoo in Amman, Jordan. We thought it would be fun for the kids, so we decided to go. I called them up and they said they're Ramadan hours are 8:00pm to 1:30am.

It seemed like we drove and drove out in the middle of nowhere and we were glad to see this sign! There really was a zoo!
It was really strange. We got there at 8:15pm and we were the only ones there for the first 20 minutes or so. There's something eerie about being at an empty zoo at night.
There weren't a lot of animals at this zoo, but we really loved seeing the African cats! There were quite a few lions!
I liked the sign that said "No feeding the animals!"
Joseph loves wolves and he loved seeing them at the zoo!
They had a llama there and our kids have never seen a llama. That asked Tim, "What is it?" and he said it's kind of like a camel and a sheep mixed together. haha!!
