Last week we had an Easter Party at my house for a bunch of ladies! It was so much fun to share our traditions with them and, most importantly, the reason we celebrate Easter!
I was so surprised at how many ladies came over to celebrate with us! They had never heard about Easter before and were surprised when we told them that this holiday is more important to us than Christmas!
A few ladies came and we waited for the rest of our friends to come. While we waited Joseph stood up and began sharing the Easter Story with the ladies!
Dying eggs was fun for the everyone! It was such a special time for them to participate in and learn about our traditions.
We told them that eggs represent new life and at Easter time we celebrate the new life we have in Christ!
We made Easter Baskets to give as gifts!
We had an egg hunt in the yard! It was so funny to watch the ladies searching for eggs!
After dying eggs and having an egg hunt I read the Easter Story one more time.
I am so thankful for all of the ladies who came to the party!

This is fun timing: a was reading this blog entry the same evening that my daughter, Katie, dyed our family's Easter eggs. We were impressed with the large number of color and quantity you had!
I would like to have the chance to meet the ladies that were at your party. I guess you'll just have to befriend them for the two of us! Thank you, Jenni, for living there and for getting to know them for me. I will continue to ask that you will continue to gain their favor...
