I'm thankful for quiet times

I started early with both Joseph and Faith having quiet time in the mornings. They can sit and look at books while I read my Bible and write in my journal. It's such a blessing that they can do this and it gives me some much needed time with the Lord! 

Many times I have my own quiet time before they get up and then Joseph asks, "when will we have quiet time?" 

Joseph started quiet time before he was a year old. He started in his high chair and then moved to the lazy chair. 

Faith quickly got into this routine also. She started by sitting in her high chair. Then she and Joseph had to sit in separate chairs. Now they both sit together on the couch, floor or bed. It's not always perfect, but it works! 

They love to finish quiet time by learning or practicing a verse from the Bible and praying! I just pray that these two will learn to love quiet time and it will always be a part of their lives.
