I'm thankful for skype

Living so far away from family is hard, but we have regular skype times. It's such a blessing to be able to see each other on the computer.

Sometimes if we talk on the phone without video, the kids say, "Grandma, I can't see you!" They often prepare for their talks with grandparents by gathering toys. The other day Joseph was showing off his new cutting skills so grandparents could watch him!

I took this picture recently when the kids were talking with my 81 year old grandma on skype.

They call her Nana, the name that Joseph insisted on when he was a year old. When they were talking to her they remembered her dog, Henry. So Henry had to make an appearance on the video!
