Tim and Jeni: I'm thankful for Tim's sisters

Growing up, I always wondered what it would be like to have sisters. Little did I know that when I got married, I would have two sisters. Tonya and Karla have accepted me as their own sister. They've even said that they don't like calling me their "sister-in-law." I love them both so much!

Tim is the youngest and only boy in his family. Tonya is 9 years older than him and Karla is 4 years older than him.

I met and grew close to both of them before we got married. In college I went through the program that both of the had completed...Elementary Education.

When I met them they were both teaching. I visited their classrooms and couldn't wait to have my own classroom! I even did my student teaching at the school where Tonya was teaching.

Since then a lot has changed for all three of us. It's been such a blessing to have a friendship with them over the years! They're so supportive of me. I love to get their advice about parenting. They are so faithful to pray for me, which means so much!

I have loved being an aunt to their kids! They are so good to Joseph and Faith! They're both great aunts to my kids!
